How to Use a Heat Press Machine?

A heat press machine imprints a design or graphic on materials like mugs,t-shirt,plates and more,with the application of heat and pressure. Here're the steps on using a heat press machine.

1. Plug in your heat press, close the top of it, turn on the machine and set the temperature dial to the appropriate level. If you're not sure what the correct temperature is, consult your owner's manual. Allow the heat press to warm to the correct level before you use it.

2. Open the heat press and place your printable item face up on the flat surface of the machine. Place the decal in your desired position on the printable item. The decal should be face down on the printable item.

3. Close the heat press and fasten the lock to ensure the printable item doesn't move during the adhesion process. Adjust the pressure setting and set the timer. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct pressure and time settings.

4. Open the heat press when the timer goes off. Remove the printable item from the machine and carefully place it on a flat surface.Remove the decal paper from the printable item once it has cooled.

What’s the Difference Between Sticky Sublimation Transfer Paper And Sublimation Paper?

For sublimation transfer paper , we generally divide it into 2 types: the fast dry sublimation paper and the sticky sublimation paper. But most people just know the fast dry sublimation paper, because the applications of sticky paper is limited. But sometimes, sticky paper is also important. Tacky sublimation paper is one type of sublimation paper with a tackified coating. The tackified coating will be activated by heat. After the tackified coating is activated, it will adhere to the textile very firmly, so after the transfer is finished and when you lift the press up, the paper will still firmly adhere to the textile, it prevents the paper and textile from moving, the ghosting will not occur.
