Transfer rate is an important balance to measure the success of the printed products. To make printed products more perfect,we should know something about the reasons for low transfer rate during the sublimation printing.The main reasons for low transfer rate are the following:

 Cheap and unknown brand printers not only use more ink during printing,the transfer rate is uneven too.There are many types of printers, such as Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland and so on. They have different quality and will lead to different transfer rate.

2.The temperature

Sublimation transfer printing has a specific temperature requirement.If the temperature can’t meet the requirement, the transfer rate would be influenced.

3.The fabric

Different fabric should use different sublimation paper. For example, if you use common sublimation paper to print the 100% cotton t-shirt, the transfer rate will not be high, and the fiber of the fabric may also be destroyed .

4.The sublimation paper

The quality of sublimation paper usually influence the transfer rate directly. Paper with high  quality always have higher transfer rate .Besides, the coating of sublimation paper, and the dust on the paper will also influence the transfer rate.

What’s the Difference Between Sticky Sublimation Transfer Paper And Sublimation Paper?

For sublimation transfer paper , we generally divide it into 2 types: the fast dry sublimation paper and the sticky sublimation paper. But most people just know the fast dry sublimation paper, because the applications of sticky paper is limited. But sometimes, sticky paper is also important. Tacky sublimation paper is one type of sublimation paper with a tackified coating. The tackified coating will be activated by heat. After the tackified coating is activated, it will adhere to the textile very firmly, so after the transfer is finished and when you lift the press up, the paper will still firmly adhere to the textile, it prevents the paper and textile from moving, the ghosting will not occur.
